Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) lost 6-2 to Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in the Final of the WFG Masters, held December 6 - 11, 2022 in Oakville, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Mouat won 7-1 over Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2022 WFG Masters in Oakville, Ontario; and won 5-3 over Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 WFG Masters in Oakville, Ontario;
 
Mouat finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mouat defeated Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN) 8-2, then went on to lose 7-4 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Mouat responded with a 5-3 win over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Mouat won 8-1 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the WFG Masters, Mouat take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize, remaining in 3rd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -6.88 after improving upon their best so far this season. Mouat ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 171.250 points earned so far this season.
