6-4 to Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE), droppimg another game, 6-2 to Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) where Horgan responded with a 8-6 win over Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Horgan won 9-7 against Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR). Horgan went on to lose 8-6 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Horgan earned 7.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 19th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.25 after improving upon their best so far this season. Horgan ranks 25th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 100.250 points earned so far this season.
