Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2023 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). of the 2023 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup in Regina, Saskatchewan;

Whyte finished 2-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whyte defeated Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA) 5-4, then went on to lose 5-3 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB). Whyte lost 7-4 to Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB). Whyte lost 9-1 to Gushue where Whyte responded with a 7-3 win over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
