Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) lost 5-1 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Prism Flow Red Deer Curling Classic, held November 18 - 21, 2022 in Red Deer, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Scheidegger won 6-3 over Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Prism Flow Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta; and won 6-3 over Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Prism Flow Red Deer Curling Classic in Red Deer, Alberta;
 
Scheidegger finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger lost 8-1 to Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 8-3 win over TBD (Red Deer, AB). Scheidegger won 5-2 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-2 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) and 9-3 against Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 7-5 against Tabitha Peterson (St. Paul, MN) to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 7-6 win over Sarah Anderson (Chaska, MN) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
