Hunkin lost 7-2 to Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) where Hunkin responded with a 6-3 win over Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 7-2 against Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
