Beau Cornelson (Camrose, AB) won 8-7 over Lowell Whittmire (Lethbridge, AB) in the Final of the Curlers Corner AJCT Players' Championship, held April 1 - 3, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Cornelson won 6-2 over Ben Kiist (Okotoks, AB) in the semifinals
 
Cornelson finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cornelson lost 3-2 to James Ballance (Okotoks, AB), then responded with a 7-6 win over Whittmire. Cornelson won 6-0 against Blake Petkau (Okotoks, AB), then won 5-4 against Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
