Whittmire finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Whittmire defeated Blake Petkau (Okotoks, AB) 8-2, then went on to lose 7-6 against Cornelson. Whittmire responded with a 6-1 win over James Ballance (Okotoks, AB). Whittmire won 5-4 against Zach Davies (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
