To advance to the championship game, Bryden won 7-2 over Saskatchewan's Brian Humble in the semifinals of the 2022 Saskatchewan Senior Mens Provincials in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Bryden finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryden defeated Saskatchewan's Shawn Joyce 7-2, then won 7-3 against Saskatchewan's Jim Wilson to advance to a A-Qualifier game where they lost 6-5 against McKee. Bryden responded with a 7-6 win over Saskatchewan's Lloyd Fell to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 5-3 against Saskatchewan's Brian Humble to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
