In their opening game, Anderson defeated Saskatchewan's Beth Booker 12-1, then won 9-2 against Saskatchewan's Kim Hodson and 4-3 against Saskatchewan's Tracy Streifel. Anderson won 4-2 against Saskatchewan's Lorraine Arguin, then won 9-2 against Saskatchewan's Gwen Kaminski and 6-4 against Saskatchewan's Cathy Inglis in their final qualifying round match.
