Hailey Birnie (Whitehorse, YK) run at the 2022 King Cash Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 4-3 loss to Shawna Jensen (Greater Vancouver, BC). of the 2022 King Cash Spiel in Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada;

Birnie finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birnie defeated Kristen Ryan (Maple Ridge, BC) 7-5, then went on to lose 10-5 against Jensen. Birnie responded with a 8-1 win over Ashley Dezura (New Westminster, BC). Birnie won 8-5 against Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Birnie earned 6.375 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the King Cash Spiel, moving up 74 spots the World Ranking Standings into 168th place overall with 7.223 total points. Birnie ranks 141st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 6.375 points earned so far this season.
