Scheidegger finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Kaylee McNamee (Calgary, AB) 7-6, then won 8-4 against Lisa Parent (Calgary, AB) and 8-2 against Brett Barber (Biggar, SK). Scheidegger won 7-4 against Elysa Crough (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
