To advance to the championship game, Skrlik won 7-5 over Michelle Hartwell (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada; and won 5-3 over Kellie Stiksma (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Ladies Alberta Open in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada;
 
Skrlik finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skrlik lost 7-6 to Stiksma, then responded with a 7-3 win over Kristie Moore (Sexsmith, AB). Skrlik won 7-3 against Atina Johnston (Okotoks, AB), then won 7-6 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ladies Alberta Open Championship title, Skrlik earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN first prize cheque. Skrlik move up 14 spots after posting a net gain of 18.75 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 27th overall with 106.502 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Skrlik ranks 21st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 67.500 points earned so far this season.
