Brundidge won 7-6 against Bret Jackson (Detroit, MI), then won 7-5 against David Falco (Denver, CO) and 7-3 against Jeremy Roe (Madison, WI). Brundidge went on to lose 5-3 against Fred Maxie (Tempe, AZ) in their final qualifying round match.
