Lauren Horton (Montreal, QC) finished 1-3 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horton lost 7-3 to Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI), then responded with a 6-2 win over Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Horton went on to lose 9-5 against Katelyn Wasylkiw (Whitby, ON). Horton lost 8-1 to Laurie St-Georges (Laval-sur-la-Lac, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
