Cheal/Cheal finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cheal/Cheal defeated Valerie Tanguay/Denis Robichaud (Quebec, QC) 6-3, then won 7-5 against Mackenzie Kiemele/Graham Singer (Guelph, ON) and 1-0 against Isabelle Neron/Alexandre Ferland (Quebec, QC).
