Emily Riley/Jesse Mullen (Montreal, QC) qualified for the 2022 Summer Series playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-5 against Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON). of the 2022 Summer Series in St-Felicien, Quebec;

Riley/Mullen finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Riley/Mullen defeated Dany Roy/Bruno Sonier (Quebec, QC) 6-2, then went on to lose 7-1 against Jones/Laing. Riley/Mullen responded with a 6-3 win over Kelly Tremblay/Pierre Lanoue (Saguenay, QC). Riley/Mullen won 7-2 against Edith Cottenoir/Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

Riley/Mullen earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Summer Series. For week 3 of the event schedule, Riley/Mullen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Riley/Mullen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
