Jauron finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jauron defeated Quebec's Thomas Lauzon 9-5, then won 8-3 against Jolianne Fortin (Saguenay, QC). Jauron went on to lose 6-2 against Raphael Patry (Saguenay, QC). Jauron responded with a 8-4 win over Leandre Girard (Quebec, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
