Paetz went on to lose 9-3 against Ramsfjell. Paetz responded with a 11-7 win over Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA). Paetz won 11-3 against Natalie Thurlow (Naseby, NZL), then won 9-2 against Minji Kim (Gangwon-do, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship, Paetz take home 70.904 world rankings points, remaining in 778th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 109.436 total points.
