Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) won 9-8 over Colton Lott (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the SGI Canada Best of the West, held April 22 - 24, 2022 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Kleiter won 5-3 over Karsten Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals
 
Kleiter finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter defeated Lott 7-4, then won 6-5 against Jeremy Harty (Calgary, AB) and 7-4 against Matthew McCrady (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the SGI Canada Best of the West Championship title, Kleiter earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque.
