To advance to the championship game, Brown won 6-3 over Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) in the semifinals of the 2022 SGI Canada Best of the West in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan;
 
Brown finished 2-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB) 6-1, then won 6-5 against Peterson. Brown went on to lose 9-6 against Lorraine Schneider (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the SGI Canada Best of the West Championship title, Brown earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 39 of the event schedule, Brown did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 32nd place on the World Ranking Standings with 98.671 total points. Brown ranks 32nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 98.671 points earned so far this season.
