Frazier/Purvis responded with a 5-4 win over Margaret Campbell/Tammy Hughes (Kelowna, BC). Frazier/Purvis went on to lose 6-3 against Elaine Hughes/Etta Reid (Cornwall, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
