Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI) run at the 2022 USA Curling Junior Mens National Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-4 loss to Ethan Sampson (Fargo, ND). of the 2022 USA Curling Junior Mens National Championship in Stevens Point, Wisconsin;

Wendling finished 5-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wendling defeated Jaime Vidaurrazaga (Wayland, MA) 20-4, then won 13-3 against Jimmy Evans (Fairbanks, AK) and 10-1 against Zachary Brenden (Bismarck, ND). Wendling won 7-1 against Bowen Zheng (Seattle, WA), then won 8-3 against Nicholas Cenzalli (Wayland, MA). Wendling went on to lose 9-3 against Connor Kauffman (Blaine, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Wendling earned 8.479 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the USA Curling Junior Mens National Championship, moving up 116 spots the World Ranking Standings into 182nd place overall with 11.171 total points. Wendling ranks 182nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.171 points earned so far this season.
