Kauffman went on to lose 9-4 against Caden Hebert (Eau Claire, WI). Kauffman responded with a 9-0 win over Carter Henry (Portage, WI). Kauffman won 13-4 against Andy Charles (Portage, WI), then won 9-3 against Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
