In their opening game, Johnson lost 5-3 to Sarah Anderson (Chaska, MN), droppimg another game, 9-3 to Miranda Scheel (Eau Claire, WI) where Johnson responded with a 6-2 win over Kaye Bassett (Fairbanks, AK). Johnson went on to lose 11-3 against Rachel Workin (Fargo, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

Johnson earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 15 of the event schedule, Johnson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Johnson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
