Brendan Ross (Swift Current, SK) finished 1-2 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ross lost 5-3 to Scott Manners (Lloydminster, SK), then responded with a 7-6 win over Jaedon Miller (Saskatoon, SK). Ross went on to lose 7-2 against Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
