In their opening game, Hung/Chang lost 9-3 to Stephanie Chen/Ian Robertson (Kingston, JAM), then responded with a 7-6 win over Anneka Burghout/Marty Thompson (Toronto, ON). Hung/Chang won 7-1 against Sarah Bailey/Dylan Sipura (St. Catharines, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
