Claire Randell/Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON) lost 8-7 to Meaghan Mallett/Brendan Jackson (Mississauga, ON) in the Final of the Greater Toronto Mixed Doubles Curling Cup, held October 1 - 2, 2022 at the Dixie Curling Club in Mississauga, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Randell/Lemieux won 10-5 over Ling-Yue Hung/Jason Chang (Hong Kong, HKG) in the semifinals of the 2022 Greater Toronto Mixed Doubles Curling Cup in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-7 over Farzana Hussain/Rayad Husain (Leonora, GUY) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Greater Toronto Mixed Doubles Curling Cup in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada;

Randell/Lemieux finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Randell/Lemieux defeated Julie Benson/Bret Jackson (Brighton, MI) 12-2, then went on to lose 6-4 against Madeleine Spurgeon/Ben Kong (Kingston, JAM). Randell/Lemieux responded with a 8-3 win over Hussain/Husain in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Greater Toronto Mixed Doubles Curling Cup, Randell/Lemieux take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $750CDN prize. For week 9 of the event schedule, Randell/Lemieux did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Randell/Lemieux ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
