Gim finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gim defeated Lindsay Bertsch (Edmonton, AB) 6-5, then won 8-3 against Adele Purcell (St Albert, AB) and 6-4 against Isabelle Ladouceur (Waterloo, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series #1 Championship title, Gim earned 26.250 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 8th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 192.954 total points. Gim ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 40.000 points earned so far this season.
