Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT) qualified for the 2022 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Major playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against John Epping (Toronto, ON).

Horgan finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Horgan defeated Sebastien Robillard (Port Coquitlam, BC) 6-3, then won 7-4 against Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN). Horgan went on to lose 5-3 against Riku Yanagisawa (Karuizawa, JPN). Horgan lost 7-4 to Yannick Schwaller (Geneva, SUI) where Horgan responded with a 8-4 win over Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB).
