Schwaller won 10-3 against Kyler Kleibrink (Calgary, AB), then won 5-2 against Michael Brunner (Bern, SUI) and 4-2 against Kody Hartung (Saskatoonc, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Curling Stadium Martensville International Championship title, Schwaller earned 33.750 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 5 spots the World Ranking Standings into 11th place overall with 169.293 total points.
