Ferris finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Schwaller 7-1, then went on to lose 6-2 against Heggestad. Ferris responded with a 9-2 win over Brandon Tippin (Bala, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel, Ferris take home 22.000 world rankings points along with the $2,600CDN prize, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 61.881 total points.
