Krysta Burns (Sudbury, NONT) lost 7-1 to Isabelle Ladouceur (Waterloo, ON) in the Final of the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel, held October 14 - 16, 2022 at the Stroud Curling Club in Innisfil, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Burns won 8-1 over Maddy Warriner (Dundas, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-4 over Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals.

Burns finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Burns defeated Sarah Picton (Stroud, ON) 9-2, then went on to lose 7-4 against Ladouceur. Burns responded with a 7-3 win over Lauren Mann (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
