To advance to the championship game, Ferris won 7-2 over John Willsey (Oakville, ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 COMCO Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-5 over Switzerland's Jan Iseli in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 COMCO Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada;

Ferris finished 2-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Dennis Moretto (Woodbridge, ON) 10-1, then went on to lose 8-4 against Deruelle. Ferris responded with a 8-3 win over Switzerland's Jan Iseli in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the COMCO Cash Spiel Championship title, Ferris earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 23 spots the World Ranking Standings into 42nd place overall with 76.655 total points. Ferris ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 53.250 points earned so far this season.
