Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) finished 1-4 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cotter/Cotter lost 9-3 to Cory Christensen/Korey Dropkin (Duluth, MN), droppimg another game, 9-1 to Marlene Albrecht/Matt Wozniak (Zurich, SUI). Cotter/Cotter lost 11-3 to Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) where Cotter/Cotter responded with a 9-2 win over Myla Plett/Ky Macaulay (Edmonton, AB). Cotter/Cotter went on to lose 6-4 against Jill Springer/Garret Springer (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Cotter/Cotter earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 9 of the event schedule, Cotter/Cotter did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Cotter/Cotter ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
