Peterman/Gallant Runner-Up at 2022 Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic

Jocelyn Peterman/Brett Gallant (Calgary, AB) lost 7-6 to Marlene Albrecht/Matt Wozniak (Zurich, SUI) in the Final of the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic, held September 29 - October 2, 2022 at the Banff Curling Club in Banff, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Peterman/Gallant won 6-4 over Chiaki Matsumura/Yasumasa Tanida (Nagano/Hokkaido, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2022 Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic in Banff, Alberta, Canada; and won 8-7 over Sarah Anderson/Andrew Stopera (Minneapolis, MN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic in Banff, Alberta, Canada;

Peterman/Gallant finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant defeated Karen Dreaver/ Coultis (Banff, AB) 11-0, then won 7-4 against Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Golden, CO) and 7-2 against Taylor Anderson/Ben Richardson (Chaska , MN). Peterman/Gallant won 6-4 against Chelsea Carey/Aaron Sluchinski (Calgary, AB), then won 5-4 against Patty Hersikorn/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic, Peterman/Gallant take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN prize. For week 9 of the event schedule, Peterman/Gallant did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Peterman/Gallant ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
