Peterman/Gallant finished 4-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Peterman/Gallant defeated Jiyoon Kim/ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) 5-4, then won 9-6 against Einarson/Einarson and 8-7 against Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON).
