In their opening game, Just/Grindheim defeated Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oslo, NOR) 11-4, then went on to lose 7-4 against Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Melbourne, AUS). Just/Grindheim lost 8-5 to Ashley Thevenot/Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) where Just/Grindheim responded with a 7-5 win over Chiaki Matsumura/Yasumasa Tanida (Nagano/Hokkaido, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Just/Grindheim earned 5.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Just/Grindheim did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Just/Grindheim ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
