Sarah Wark/Andrew Nerpin (Kelowna , BC) finished 1-3 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Wark/Nerpin lost 9-0 to Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS), droppimg another game, 9-2 to Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON) where Wark/Nerpin responded with a 9-7 win over Lauren Wasylkiw/Shane Konings (Stouffville, ON). Wark/Nerpin went on to lose 7-6 against Shannon Birchard/John Morris (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Wark/Nerpin earned 2.625 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 16 of the event schedule, Wark/Nerpin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wark/Nerpin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
