Konrad Stych (Warsaw, POL) finished 1-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stych lost 8-7 to ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR), then responded with a 6-5 win over Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA). Stych went on to lose 4-2 against Lukas Klima (Prague, CZE). Stych lost 9-4 to Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Stych earned 1.313 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 5 of the event schedule, Stych did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Stych ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
