Sergio Vez (San Sebastian, ESP) qualified for the 2022 Tallinn Mens International Challenger playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-5 against Dean Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). of the 2022 Tallinn Mens International Challenger in Tallinn, Estonia;

Vez went on to lose 6-5 against Martins Truksans (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.

Vez earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Tallinn Mens International Challenger. For week 9 of the event schedule, Vez did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
