Tippin went on to lose 6-5 against Emerson Steffler (Unionville, ON). Tippin responded with a 5-0 win over Yusuke Morozumi (Karuizawa, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Tippin earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the KW Fall Classic, moving up 28 spots the World Ranking Standings into 96th place overall with 26.813 total points. Tippin ranks 67th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.000 points earned so far this season.
