Morrissey finished 3-1 in the 30-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Morrissey defeated Sierra Sutherland (Ottawa, ON) 6-1, then went on to lose 6-1 against Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON). Morrissey responded with a 6-5 win over Greg Bridges (Russell, ON). Morrissey won 7-6 against Robin Duguay (Buckingham, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Morrissey earned 7.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Capital Curling Classic. For week 10 of the event schedule, Morrissey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
