Steven Munroe (Saquenay, QC) won 7-6 over Jasmin Gibeau (Buckingham, QC) in the Final of the Challenge Nord-Ouest Air Creebec/Agnico Eagle, held October 27 - 30, 2022 in Val-d'Or, Quebec. To advance to the championship game, Munroe won 7-6 over Robert Desjardins (Quebec, QC) in the semifinals of the 2022 Challenge Nord-Ouest Air Creebec/Agnico Eagle in Val-d'Or, Quebec; and won 4-2 over Mathieu Gravel (val-d'Or, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Challenge Nord-Ouest Air Creebec/Agnico Eagle in Val-d'Or, Quebec;

Munroe finished 4-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Munroe defeated Bernard Larouche (val-d'Or, QC) 11-1, then won 6-0 against Paulo Bienvenue (val-d'Or, QC) and 7-3 against Denis Jolin (Noranda, QC). Munroe won 5-3 against Roger Bertrand (Buckingham, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Challenge Nord-Ouest Air Creebec/Agnico Eagle Championship title, Munroe earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $3,100CDN first prize cheque. Munroe move up 6 spots after posting a net gain of 12.75 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 73rd overall with 53.339 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
