Gibeau finished 4-0 in the 25-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gibeau defeated Marcia Giroux (Noranda, QC) 8-2, then won 6-4 against Jean-Christophe Pichon (val-d'Or, QC) and 7-0 against Alain Moreau (val-d'Or, QC). Gibeau won 7-1 against Adam Rocheleau (Val-d'Or, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Challenge Nord-Ouest Air Creebec/Agnico Eagle, Gibeau take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,940CDN prize. For week 13 of the event schedule, Gibeau did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
