John Shuster (Duluth, MN) qualified for the 2022 Euro Super Series playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-1 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO). of the 2022 Euro Super Series in Stirling, Scotland;

Shuster finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shuster defeated Andrin Schnider (Schaffhausen, SUI) 6-1, then won 8-4 against James Craik (Stirling, SCO). Shuster went on to lose 6-5 against Joel Retornaz (Trentino, ITA). Shuster responded with a 6-1 win over Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) in their final qualifying round match.
