Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) lost 5-3 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the Oslo Cup, held September 2 - 4, 2022 in Oslo, Norway. To advance to the championship game, Lawes won 6-4 over Marianne Roervik (Oslo, NOR) in the semifinals of the 2022 Oslo Cup in Oslo, Norway;
 
Lawes finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawes defeated Beth Farmer (Stirling, SCO) 10-2, then won 7-4 against Maia Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) and 5-3 against Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Lawes won 6-4 against Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI), then won 4-3 against Roervik in their final qualifying round match.
