Walstad finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walstad defeated Axel Landelius (MjÃ¶lby, SWE) 6-5, then won 7-1 against Eirik Oey (Oppdal, NOR) and 7-6 against Kyle Waddell (Glasgow, SCO). Walstad won 6-3 against Axel Rosander (Norrkoping, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Oslo Cup, Walstad take home 27.500 world rankings points along with the $2,629CDN prize.
