Sturmay responded with a 6-3 win over Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 7-6 against Hunkin to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

Sturmay earned 21.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curlers Corner Autumn Gold Curling Classic.
