To advance to the championship game, Ideson won 9-4 over Ontario's Sarah Leung in the semifinals of the 2022 Stu Sells U18 Tankard in Barrie, Ontario, Canada; and won 5-4 over Ontario's Emily Padbury in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Stu Sells U18 Tankard in Barrie, Ontario, Canada;
 
Ideson finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ideson defeated Ontario's Ally Sone 13-0, then won 5-4 against Katrina Frlan (Ottawa, ON). Ideson went on to lose 6-2 against Amanda Smith (Dundas, ON). Ideson responded with a 7-6 win over Ontario's Sydney Taylor in their final qualifying round match.
