Galusha finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Galusha defeated Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) 9-2, then won 5-3 against Laurie St-Georges (Laval-sur-la-Lac, QC). Galusha went on to lose 6-5 against Sarah Anderson (Chaska, MN). Galusha responded with a 8-5 win over Emily Deschenes (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
